Certificates of analysis (COA)
A certificate of analysis is a lot-specific document reporting the results of analytical testing performed on a batch of material. A COA typically identifies the product and lot number, the test methods used, the specification, the measured result, and the date and testing party.
HPLC purity testing
High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) separates the components of a sample. Purity is commonly reported as the area of the main peak relative to the total peak area in the chromatogram at a stated detection wavelength.
Mass spectrometry (MS) identity
Mass spectrometry measures the mass-to-charge ratio of ions. Comparing the observed molecular mass with the theoretical mass of the expected sequence helps confirm identity.
